dc.description.abstract	Existem no mundo 34 milhões de cegos e o grande desafio é fazer a inclusão social dessas pessoas. Os papéis para escrita em Braille precisam ter gramaturas superiores às dos papeis tradicionais e precisam ser mais resistentes para que as saliências produzidas neles não se desgastem com o tempo. Nesse contexto, será avaliada a viabilidade técnica da produção de papéis em Braille utilizando polietileno de alta densidade (PEAD) e resíduos gerados na lavra de pegmatito como carga reforçante. O resíduo foi caracterizado por FRX e DRX e os compósitos, com 10, 30 e 50% de carga, foram extrusados, injetados e submetidos a ensaios de resistência ao impacto, módulo de elasticidade e resistência à tração. De acordo com os resultados obtidos,os resíduos gerados na lavra de pegmatitos podem ser utilizados para geração de papel Braille, nas concentrações de 10 e 30 %, em massa de pegmatito com uso de compatibilizante, visto que possuem maior deformação elástica, maior capacidade de absorção de choques e módulos de elasticidade semelhantes.

dc.description.abstracten	The world has 34 million blind and the big challenge is to make the social inclusion of these people. The papers written in Braille need to have weights higher than those of traditional roles and need to be more resistant to the projections produced them not to wear with time. In this context, it will evaluate the technical feasibility of the production of papers in Braille using high polyethylene density (HPED) and wastes generated within pegmatite mining as reinforcing filler. The residue was characterized by DRX and FRX and composites with 10, 30 and 50% loading, were extruded, injected and subjected to an impact resistance test, tensile modulus and tensile strength. According to the results, the residues generated in the mining pegmatite can be used to generate Braille paper, in concentrations of 10 to 30% by weight of compatibilizer with the use of pegmatite, as have higher elastic deformation, the greater capacity shock absorption and similar moduli of elasticity.
