dc.description.abstractA implementação do Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade (SGQ) no Laboratório Caracterização de Rochas Ornamentais – LABRO, do Núcleo Regional do Espírito Santo do CETEM, tem como objetivo acreditar o laboratório, inicialmente, na realização de quatro ensaios de caracterização tecnológica de rochas ornamentais. O LABRO se encontra na fase de avaliação do funcionamento do SGQ, e finalização da elaboração dos procedimentos. Nessa etapa estão sendo utilizados métodos de validação para avaliar o desempenho e qualidade dos ensaios realizados. Foi adotada também uma pesquisa com empresas do setor que visou pontuar as carências do setor, avaliar a utilização dos ensaios de caracterização e a atuação do CETEM. Ambos trabalhos de avaliação do laboratório e instituição estão possibilitando identificar etapas que necessitam de mais atenção por parte do CETEM e propor ações corretivas visando a melhoria continua e cumprimento aos requisitos gerenciais e técnicos da Norma NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

dc.description.abstractenThe Quality Management System (QMS) implementation in the Natural Stone Characterization Laboratory – LABRO in the Núcleo Regional do Espírito Santo from CETEM, has the objective to accredit the laboratory, initially for the execution of four technological characterization tests of natural stone. LABRO is in the evaluation phase of the operation of the QMS and in the final stage of procedures preparation. At this stage validation methods are used to assess the performance and quality of tests. It was also adopted a company’s survey in order to highlight the needs of the sector, to evaluate the use of characterization tests and the performance of CETEM. Both aboratory evaluation work and institution are enabling to identify steps that need more attention from CETEM and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement and compliance with management and technical requirements of the Standard ISO / IEC 17025:2005.
